We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver performance management initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from discovery to post-cycle evaluation—while driving the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of performance management processes and programs. You will facilitate discussions with cross-functional stakeholders, ensure effective and timely decision-making, surface risks and critical dependencies, and align stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of our performance cycle and operationalize our high-performance culture. The ideal candidate should have Project Management experience, ideally with a Talent Development background, plus exceptional problem-solving skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Manage performance management process and parallel system implementations / functionality enhancements
- Develop plans & recommendations, gather requirements, drive solutions & solve complex employee issues that require in-depth data analysis and process understanding
- Develop & manage comprehensive project plans outlining key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines for our Performance Management initiatives
- Oversee the day-to-day workflows of the performance management projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget
- Drive adoption of new performance management initiatives by developing clear communication plans, training materials, and support resources.
- Identify, engage, and manage stakeholders across all levels of the organization to ensure that project objectives and deliverables are met.
- Partner with People Tech and the business to implement and optimize tools that support performance management processes.
- Facilitate project team meetings ensuring stakeholders are engaged and supported through the project
- Communicate project status, potential risks, and milestones to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the key point of contact for all performance management project related inquiries and concerns
- Leverage performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Monitor and measure the success of performance management initiatives through feedback, metrics, and continuous improvement efforts
- Model and ensure the highest standard of confidentiality in data handling
- Ability to manage multiple critical priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications:
- 6+ Years of experience in Project Management, with at least 3 years focused on performance management or HR-related projects
- Demonstrated project management and change management skills, familiarity with project management tools / methodologies and a track record of success in bringing highly complex, cross-functional projects to completion
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships & influence at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, written, verbal, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion and care
- Strong knowledge of performance management processes and best practices and/or track record driving highly complex initiatives
- Familiarity with managing processes to enable technology - examples include Workday, CultureAmp, Lattice etc.
- Experience in a fast-paced, highly dynamic start up
- Leadership presence with strong collaboration skills; able to articulate a clear problem statement & recommendation and secure buy-in and support from key stakeholders
Pay Rate: $85-$95/hour
